The Undercocks on Facebook

23 October 2011

Just to let you know that our gig on the 5th November will now be at the Saxon in Solihull, and a reminder that this replaces the gig at The Harvester, which is now on 7th Jan.

9 August 2011

The Undercocks will now be doubling up for our return on Aug 27. Two gigs in one day - the first for a Banks's beer open day at Marstons Brewery in Wolverhampton at 12.15pm (and our friends Skabucks will be playing too...), and the second at TreakleTown Scooter Club, Ansley Working Men's Club, Nuneaton in the evening. Not much rest for the wicked...

28 July 2011

The Undercocks are taking a well-earned month off while Bernard gets married, Mooger and Boris practice making even more noise, and Ritchie-Ray surgically applies velcro to his hands to prevent randomly throwing sticks at the rest of us. We're back on 27 August for a two-gig bank holiday special. In the early afternoon we'll be playing at a Banks brewery open day in Wolverhampton, while at 9.30 we'll be at TreakleTown Scooter Club, Ansley WMC, in Nuneaton.

Happy holidays,

Boris

The Undercocks are set to play their 100th gig this Saturday - 9th July - at the Three Tuns in Sutton Coldfield. And since this is one of our favourite venues, we've decided to put on an extra special show. Please come and join us for an absolutely belting night. And here's looking forward to 100 more...

Thanks for everyone's support so far. Stay groovy,

Boris

Exciting news Cock fans - more video of The Undercocks is now available on our gallery page and on YouTube. Songs include Pump it Up, Uncontrollable Urge, Baby Does Good Sculptures and a few more belters besides. And there's a special bonus for Mooger fans!

Stay groovy,

Boris

He's back! King Ritchie-Ray Dio is back in his surgically altered saddle, and belted out his usual tub-thumpings along with Prince Bernard, Prince Boris and Princess Mooger (the Duchess of Stourbridge) for a Royal Wedding day special at the Longford Engine in Coventry. Mooger wore a lacy on-the-shoulder gown, and looked resplendent in his not-matching green wellies, while Prince Bernard delivered a memorable version of Eton Rifles - memorable in the sense that he was unable to remember any of the words...

Rock and roll, eh.

Stay groovy,

Boris

Really sorry folks. For the first time in 90-odd gigs over two years, we've had to cancel a show following injury to our drummer Ritchie-Ray. We don't like to let anyone down, but the fella is properly crocked, and we can't get a dep in at two days notice. RR is gutted, and we wish him well.

Once again, our apologies to everyone, especially Mike at the Feathers in Lichfield.

Stay groovy,

Boris

Last night was our first of 10 gigs in Sutton Coldfield this year, this time at the Three Tuns. Absolutely fabulous crowd - many thanks. It's always a pleasure. Got so carried away I forgot to introduce the singer. Ladies and gents, I give you the main man: Bernard Stuff.

Stay groovy,

Boris

Belting gig last night at the Hop Pole in Bromsgrove - thanks to everyone who came for making it a great night. Two punters were so impressed that they've booked us for their wedding do later this month. What can we say? We're flattered and honoured to have been asked. Many thanks.

Stay groovy,

Boris

Welcome to a revised version of the Undercock's website. And on this page you'll find some snippets of what's new in the wild world of The Undercocks. Thanks to everyone who came to see us last year - we look forward to belting out all those punk classics again.

2011 is underway, with our first gig at the Longford Engine behind us. And it was good to be back. Even Mooger was moved to look slightly animated during a few songs, and has even vowed to attend rehearsals (in body, if not in mind).

And we've added some new songs to the set - Boredom by Buzzcocks, White Man in Hammersmith Palais from The Clash, Damaged Goods by Gang of Four, Radio Radio by Elvis Costello, Love will tear us apart by Joy Division, along with a few more up our sleeves.

On this website we've added a media gallery, so you can get a look at the UCs in their animated glory, listen to some tunes, or browse some pics.

This year we'll be returning to many of our favourite venues, but as you'll see from our gig list, we're spreading the punk word into Leicestershire and Warwickshire, and also have three booking agents putting the word out for us. So if you've seen us already - don't worry, we'll be back. If not, then brace yourself...

Stay groovy

Boris
